2016 Tropicsurf Annual

QUANTITY

A L O H A

Our second issue is loosely themed around happiness - that most elusive of human conditions that is so often misunderstood. Rather than some unsustainable state of ecstasy, happiness is more likely to be long-term feelings of contentedness, or even flourishing, that results when physical, spiritual, emotional, aspirational and philanthropic aspects of our lives exist in harmony and balance. Research shows that while material possessions contribute little to happiness, a style of experiential living does.

Tropicsurf thinks it's worthwhile to inspire you to work a little less and to live more experientially. That's what this annual is all about. We hope you enjoy it.

140 pages.

ON THE COVER: Who needs more materialism? Indonesian kid with home-made timber board. Stoked and happy. Somewhere near the Spice Islands.
