Prime time here is June to September – but only because that’s when the biggest swells normally arrive. April, May and October are also possible. We cannot guarantee an empty line-up, because occasionally travelling surfers aboard surfari boats could have the same notion if they see promising swell charts. But it’s a long way for them to deviate so generally surfers rarely visit these parts. Tropicsurf guides are not on property full-time. Instead they transfer from Kuda Huraa on demand
Tropicsurf has a complete quiver of cutting edge eco-friendly boards at the Kuda Huraa Surf Shack, board of choice are easily transferred to Landaa Giraavaru. Avoid the hassle of travelling with your board by contacting Tropicsurf in advance of your stay to reserve choice of board; shortboard, fish, hybrid, or longboard. Stand Up Paddleboards are also available from the Tropicsurf Centre.
