Nearby go sightseeing in Tanah Lot, made up of sea temples standing on tide-shaped rocks on the west coast of Bali. This holy site is a popular place from which to see the spectacular sunset.
Forget Potato Head, the COMO Beach Club will create a distinctively modern take on the traditional ‘surf shack’. Open all day, serving Australian, Asian and European flavours with a changing menu of reimagined classics. A highlight of the COMO Beach Club is the wood fire OX Grills from London serving an eclectic global menu to a soundtrack of live acoustic musicians and original DJ sets. Fresh regional ingredients drive our simple, modern approach in the kitchen, with an authentic wood-fired grill. The Beach Club bar also offers daybeds and poolside seating. Alternatively, glow will serve a healthy ‘grab and go’ juice and salad bar for guests preferring a light meal before hitting the waves.

Based year-round at COMO Uma Canggu, Tropicsurf offers easy access to some of Bali’s most sought-after breaks. Bali has quality surf all year and is predictably determined by two trade wind seasons. Dry season (April to October) features offshore winds on the West Coast. Wet season (December to February) brings offshore winds to the East Coast. Peak surf is June to August but the waves will be at their busiest then. Shoulder months such as March-April or October-November normally deliver less size, less crowds and can be more enjoyable.
Tropicsurf has partnered with Firewire surfboards to offer a complete quiver of cutting edge eco-friendly boards for guest use. Avoid the hassle of travelling with your board by contacting Tropicsurf in advance of your stay to reserve choice of board; shortboard, fish, hybrid, or longboard. Stand Up Paddleboards are also available from the Tropicsurf Centre.
