This trip ventures into some un-chartered surf territories. Tropicsurf’s role is to direct the trip with our knowledge of breaks and conditions, manage the relationship with the local crew, supervise water safety, shoot some photos or video and provide our signature standard of detailed coaching. Your guides can also direct a recreational program so that the non-surfers enjoy incredible experiences as well.
Tropicsurf typically operates our Savu Sea private charters from April to October. June to August are the peak times for good swell and some of the best beginner breaks require big swells to even start up. Trips in April/May or September/October will normally show less swell but also less wind. This opens up a new combination of breaks, quite different to a peak season trip. So no matter when you visit, there will normally be waves.
Tropicsurf will have available a full quiver of Firewire surfboards for guest use. Avoid the hassle of travelling with your board by contacting Tropicsurf in advance of your stay to reserve choice of board from our Bali Resort Centres for Four Seasons and COMO; shortboard, fish, hybrid, or longboard. Stand Up Paddleboards are also available.
