Mantas and Secret Barrels at Four Seasons Landaa, Maldives
TS SALES MANAGER, JENNI EDWARDS
Talk about WOW factor! The Beach Villas have a huge outdoor lounge and dining pavilion with a mezzanine level reached by spiral staircase. The perfect cubby ‘tree-house’, complete with hammock and day bed from which to stare out to sea.
Turtle Hospitals are fascinating, especially for an aspiring vet! The marine scientists on staff gave freely of their knowledge and welcomed guests of all ages. Teamed with a turtle snorkeling trip, this made for an unforgettable experience.
Anti-gravity yoga involves a lot of hanging from silk hammocks - and not in the usual, afternoon nap kind of way. It’s really quite good.

Never catch a buggy. Instead ride your personally monikored tredley everywhere.
Book an appointment with the Ayurvedic doctor to learn what your Dosha is and how that effects your health and emotions. Highly recommended.
Book the ‘Manta on Call’ program. It’s a must! They provide a local phone and when their spotters locate large schools of manta rays, they’ll call you and if you can be on the boat in half an hour, you will be on the edge of your mask and snorkel swimming close up with these friendly giants.
There’s an incredible barreling right-hander 45 minutes from the resort. It’s a closely guarded secret. In fact there are around 20 breaks within access of the resort and they are mostly virgin or empty. Yes they receive less swell and can be a bit fickle. But you’ll frequently surf alone. Worst case if it’s too small, the resort will (subject to availability) allow you to transfer your paid room to Kuda Huraa to surf the more consistent breaks there.
